The Word of Mouth Manual Volume II by David Balter, founder
of Bzz Agents (of which I am a member) who spread the word
about products they like to friends and family (word of mouth
marketing in action) The Bzz Agents then file written reports
on the Bzz Agent site about their experience.

The Word of Mouth Manual Voulume 2 is an interesting read.
The book goes into detail about current word of mouth advertising
and its affect on consumerism. I especially liked the tidbit how
Casey Kasem triggered heavy word of mouth advertising
with his switch to the top 40 format.

And of course how word of mouth advertising drove up interest
in a $30 plush toy to well over thousands( Tickle Me Elmo). The
book also details the authors experience with Bzz Agents.

This book is a must for anyone who is interested in advertising,
marketing, and how it relates to consumerism. The book may be
